Kyle (He/Him) is a dedicated and compassionate clinical therapist committed to providing inclusive, affirming, and trauma-informed care. He holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Sociology from Wayne State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wayne State’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program. He also earned a graduate certificate in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Studies from Wayne State University.
His professional foundation began with two years of service as a case manager at the Noah Project Detroit, where he supported individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them access vital services and stability. During his graduate studies, he also served as an Overdose Rescue Trainer with AmeriCorps, educating communities on opioid overdose prevention and intervention strategies, before moving into a clinical social work position as a therapist.
Currently, Kyle practices as a Clinical Therapist at Mount Pleasant Counseling, PLLC. He brings a warm, strengths-based, and person-centered approach to his work, utilizing a variety evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet the individual needs of each client.
When he’s not in session, Kyle enjoys a quiet life with his wife, their dog, three cats, and small flock of chickens. He has a passion for gardening, exploring the outdoors, and collecting vintage video games—a hobby that reflects both his appreciation for nostalgia and his creative spirit.

Amy Anderson, LLMSW

Amy Anderson (They/Them), LLMSW is a dedicated therapist at Mount Pleasant Counseling, specializing in working with neurodivergent individuals as well as couples and individuals identifying as LGBTQ+. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, they create a safe and affirming space where clients can explore their emotions, develop practical coping strategies, and build resilience. Their work is deeply informed by an understanding of the unique challenges that come with neurodivergence, including ADHD, autism, and executive functioning differences, as well as the intersection of these experiences with anxiety, identity exploration, and LGBTQ+ concerns.
Amy integrates creative interventions, strengths-based approaches, and somatic or polyvagal-informed techniques to support emotional regulation and nervous system healing. They recognize that traditional therapy models often overlook the specific needs of neurodivergent individuals and work to provide an affirming, tailored experience that honors each client’s unique way of thinking, processing, and engaging with the world.

Erika Moss, LLMSW

Erika Moss (She/Her) is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker with a passion for supporting individuals through healing and personal growth. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University.
Erika takes an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring her methods to each individual’s needs while primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is a certified Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) provider and specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma.
Her background includes extensive experience working with college students, as well as survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Erika is committed to creating a safe, empowering space for clients to explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop tools for lasting change.

Meranda Moore, LLMSW

Meranda (She/Her) is a dedicated and empathetic social worker, committed to empowering individuals, families, and communities to overcome adversity and achieve lasting well-being. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and a deep understanding of social systems, she provides client-centered support that prioritizes dignity, equity, and inclusion.
Meranda has experience working with diverse populations, including children and youth, individuals within the justice system, older adults and those navigating mental health or substance use challenges. Her approach is rooted in active listening, cultural humility, and a trauma-informed lens that recognizes the unique experiences of every client.
Whether through case management, advocacy, or community outreach, she strives to be a compassionate guide and a fierce advocate for social justice.

Skyler Nuñez, LLPC

As a neurodivergent transmasculine nonbinary person Skyler (they/elle) understands the value of advocacy, affirmation, and support. They believe in being a strong advocate for not only change but justice and equity. They strive to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space to exist as clients navigate their mental health journey. Skyler will walk alongside their clients helping their strengths shine through and continue to grow.
Skyler earned their Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Central Michigan University helping create an approach to counseling by utilizing techniques from multiple theories with an emphasis on mindfulness and trauma informed approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy. Skyler is passionate about meeting clients where they are in the therapeutic process and walking alongside them in collaboration to grow long term.
Therapy is not a one size fits all process and progress through the process is not either. Everyone moves along this journey at their own pace and feels their progress at various stages throughout their journey. Skyler strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming space that allows clients to work together in the best way possible. Whether working with clients processing traumatic experiences, navigating life transitions, exploring aspects of their identity, or seeking support for neurodivergence-related challenges, Skyler brings empathy, clinical expertise, and genuine respect for each person’s autonomy and inherent worth.

Keaghan Smith
Counseling Intern

Keaghan (she/her) is a counseling intern in Central Michigan University’s master’s-level Counseling Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Development with a concentration in Community Health, along with a dual minor in Psychology and Cultural and Global Studies from Central Michigan University. Keaghan takes a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet each client where they are.
She believes therapy should be a safe, grounded space where individuals feel respected, understood, and supported as they make sense of their experiences. Keaghan is deeply committed to this work and strives to help clients feel less alone, more empowered, and capable of creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them. She has experience providing counseling to adults navigating anxiety, depression, and grief, and she has a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals as they explore identity, relationships, and life transitions within an affirming and inclusive therapeutic space.
Keaghan approaches her work with compassion and advocacy, while remaining mindful of the social and systemic factors that shape clients’ lived experiences.
Outside of the therapy space, she enjoys spending time with her wife and their four cats. She is an artist and an avid reader, and values creativity and storytelling as powerful ways of understanding the human experience.
